My name is Derek Galen, and I'm the founder of Open InfoTech Solutions, based in New Braunfels, Texas. I built my first website professionally in 1995 and have been passionate about software development ever since. Over the decades, I've assembled a dedicated team, and together we bring a long history of IT expertise to every project—covering network infrastructure, custom software development, cloud migrations, and automation.

One of my greatest joys is helping small businesses use technology to compete with larger firms. We've delivered projects for clients across a variety of industries—including nonprofits, auto repair, payroll services, property management, construction, and fire safety compliance. Though I started this journey alone, it's never been a one-person show.
